I was attempting a 365 with Marcus asleep today. He looked so peaceful and I really liked the way the lines in his shirt complemented the bedspread lines.
Thomas had other ideas. As I set up the shot he kept interfering, first by tickling Marcus’ feet, then by peeking his head and putting his hands in front of my iPhone. I finally asked him what he was doing.
"I want you to take a picture of me too."
All he had to do was ask.
Vegas is a crazy and exciting place. Where else can you take pictures with giant apes
…and giant girl m&m’s all in the same night.
We had a long day. Molly saw the fountains, but didn’t make it to the gardens. I’m sure she’s dreaming up a tree that fantastical right now.
First the kids…
The photography bug has officially bit the entire Kingston Family 🙂
Thomas got Bulk today. He’s apparently the "funny" Lego Hero.
Note to self: Must watch Hero Factory movie all the way through.
Second note to self: Possibly rethink first note, considering how Ponyo went…
I’ve been really committing myself lately to be taking intentional photographs. Most of the time I get take a couple shots and one or two end up well, but today I was surprised just how well this one ended up.
And I mean that in the way that there was only one shot I took. I hovered over Molly as she was playing "Teach me preschool" on her iPod Touch, made sure I was in a good spot for the natural light, focused, and then said, "Oh, Molly."
Snap. (in Hipstamatic) and that was that.
Hello today’s 365.
The kids were super excited about finding eggs this morning.
They took the competition very seriously…
Just kidding. Happy Easter!!
The kids love to go away, but there’s something to be said about coming home. They take out all their toys and relax. I cringe a little, then I look past the chaos and smile.
It feels like home.
Happy Earth Day.
Behind the Spanish Trail Arena, where the Off-Road Expo is being held, are these fences, presumably for some animals 😉
My little humans had fun with them.
